The mission of the FAWN is to empower Filipino Americans through 1) education about our culture so that we can overcome racism, classism, and sexism caused by colonization and oppression; 2) leadership development so that we can better participate in policy development, social action and cultural activities; and 3) dialogue and build bridges with the greater community to promote better understanding of Asian-Pacific Americans (APA) in contemporary society.
